Robin vague on takings issue

Wondering if I’d hear more conclusive arguments against NH 2020 or in favor of Measure D, I attended the supervisors’ debate in Penn Valley. Again, candidate Robin Sutherland only vaguely referred to “the threats of regulatory takings in the county,” but failed to mention any specifics.

If there is some real basis for Ms. Sutherland’s claims, I wish she would give an example of land that has been subject to “regulatory taking” or any specific property in danger of such a fate. Until then, my vote will go to the candidate who does not try to win by instilling fear in the voters but is open to reasonable discourse.
