Monday-Friday

— South Auburn Street from East McKnight to the intersection at Whiting Street. Construction continues on the South Auburn Street Improvements Project. Placement of a 24-inch storm drain as well as work on frontage improvements will continue starting at the culvert placed at Little Wolf Creek, north toward the Whiting Street intersection. Preparation for paving and placement of asphalt will begin. It may be necessary to close South Auburn Street to through traffic at times during the workday. All businesses will be open, and access will be maintained throughout. Watch for construction signs and proceed with caution through the work area. Crews will be on site from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

— Work will continue on the installation of underground dry utilities on Mill Street, Monday. Due to various construction activities on Mill Street, this area will be closed to all trucks from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays until further notice. Watch for detours and pay attention to all road signs and flag persons while in this area.



— On Highway 49/20 in Nevada City: Left lane closed and delays of up to five minutes southbound, north of Nevada Street, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following morning. Caltrans is making improvements on the Nevada Street overcrossing.




Sunday-Friday

— On Interstate 80 east of Truckee: Lane closures affecting east and westbound lanes from east of the Central Truckee Interchange to the Floriston Bridge from 10 p.m. Sunday to 8 a.m. Friday. Multiple work areas may cause cumulative delays of up to 30 minutes. The speed limit between West Boca and Floriston is 55 mph.

— On Interstate 80, east of Truckee: Work has begun on a $5.5 million project to resurface from Floriston to the California/Nevada state line. Completion is expected in the summer of 2003.

Monday-Thursday

— On Interstate 80 from Gold Run to Nyack: Lane closures and delays of five to 10 minutes on east and westbound lanes between Gold Run and Nyack from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

— On Interstate 80 from west of Auburn to Colfax: Lane closures and delays of five to 10 minutes on east and westbound lanes at various locations between Newcastle and Colfax from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Caltrans crew are sealing cracks and filling potholes.

Tuesday-Thursday

— On Interstate 80 east of Truckee: Right lane closed and delays of five to 10 minutes on eastbound lanes between Farad and Mystic from 10 p.m. to 4 p.m. the following day.

— On Interstate 80 in Placer County from east of Gold Run to Drum: Work continues on a project to rehabilitate the roadway.
