Interstate 80 (Placer County) from west of Auburn to Colfax: Work continues on a $40.4 million project to:



• Rehabilitate the roadway utilizing rubberized asphalt concrete

• Rehabilitate the Applegate on/off ramps




• Upgrade traffic operation system elements

The estimated completion date is fall 2006.

SHORT-TERM PROJECTS

State Route 20 (Nevada County) from the Yuba County line to Interstate 80: Motorists can expect one-way traffic control at various locations from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. A Caltrans crew is scheduled to clean ditches.

State Route 49 (Nevada/Yuba Counties) from the Placer county line to Marysville Road: Motorists can expect the north and southbound No. 1 lane closed intermittently from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. A Caltrans crew is scheduled to clear brush.

Interstate 80 (Nevada County) from Castle Peak to Donner Lake: Motorists can various eastbound lane closures from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday. A contractor is scheduled to do grinding.

Interstate 80 (Nevada County) from the Vista Point to the Donner Summit Safety Roadside Rest Area: Motorists can expect various westbound lane closures from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday. A contractor is scheduled to do grinding.
