Road Work

This week

SHORT-TERM

PROJECTS:

– Route 49 (Nevada/Yuba Counties) from the Bear River Bridge to the Marysville Road: Motorists can expect various No. 1 lane closures from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. A Caltrans crew is scheduled to trim trees and brush.

– Route 174 (Nevada County) from the Nevada/Placer County line to Auburn Street: Motorists can expect one-way traffic control from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. A Caltrans crew is scheduled to trim trees and brush.

– PG&E, represented by White Construction, will be making a gas main tie in at the edge of Idaho-Maryland Road. This will require traffic delays through the project during the course of the work, which may take all week. It will be necessary to take part of the west bound lane during this process but traffic flow will be maintained through the area by flag persons. Access to all businesses in the area will be maintained at all times.
