— On Interstate 80 in Truckee: Work has been suspended until next spring on a $7.7 million project to install a new median barrier on Interstate 80 between the Highway 89 (south) off-ramp and Trout Creek. The Trout Creek Bridge will also be replaced.
Tuesday – Friday
— On Highway 20 in Nevada County: Motorists can expect one-way traffic control and delays of five to minutes on Highway 20 at various locations from west of Grass Valley to the I-80 junction from 8 a.m. to 3:30. Caltrans crews are doing routine maintenance along the roadway.
— On Highway 49 near Sierra City: Motorists can expect one-way traffic control and delays of five to 10 minutes on Highway 49 between Cemetery Road and Castagna Alley from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Work crews are installing a new drainage system.
— On Highway 49 in Yuba and Sierra Counties: Motorists can expect one-way traffic control and delays of five to 10 minutes at various locations on Highway 49 from south of Camptonvile to north of the Yuba Pass Campground from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Caltrans crews are doing routine maintenance along the roadway.
— On Interstate 80, east of Gold Run: Motorists can expect the left lane closed with delays of five to 10 minutes on westbound I-80 near Alta from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. A contractor is replacing a culvert in the center median.
— On Interstate 80, west of Truckee: Motorists can expect various lane closures and delays of five to 10 minutes on east and westbound I-80 from at various locations between Kingvale and Central Truckee from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (12 noon on Friday). Caltrans crews are doing routine maintenance along the roadway.
Tuesday – Thursday
— On Interstate 80 east of Truckee: Motorists can expect various lane closures affecting east and westbound I-80 from east of the Central Truckee Interchange to the Floriston Bridge from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Multiple work areas may cause cumulative delays of up to 15 minutes. Motorists are reminded that the speed limit through the “cone zone” between West Boca and Floriston is 55 m.p.h.
— On Interstate 80 east of Truckee: Work has been suspended (due to winter) on a $5.5 million project to resurface from Floriston to the California/Nevada State Line. Completion is expected in the summer of 2003.
— On Interstate 80 and Highways 267 and 89 in Nevada County in Truckee: Work has been suspended (due to winter) on a $33.5 million-dollar project to construct a two-lane expressway, better known as the Truckee Bypass. No traffic interfering work is expected
— On Interstate 80 from west of Auburn to Gold Run: Motorists can expect various lane closures and delays of five to 10 minutes on east and westbound lanes at various locations between Newcastle and Gold Run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Caltrans crews are filling potholes and cutting brush.
