Help a senior outreach nurse on the second and third Wednesday of each month.

Senior center

assistance

Help is needed with many special events including the silent auction, Celebrity Waiter Dinner and monthly dinner dances. There are also openings for receptionist and travel desk assistants. A coordinator is needed for Monday afternoon bridge, and there are always openings for drivers for home-delivered meals.

Office assistant

Answer phones in a friendly voice, file, fax, and make copies.

School workers

Assist with activities in an elementary classroom or mentor a first- or second-grade student.

Park workers

Applications are now being accepted for a wide variety of volunteer activities at the Empire Mine State Historic Park. Give tours to the public and school groups, maintain the landscaped grounds and heritage rose garden, rebuild and maintain historic buildings, or be involved in the history program at the Bourn Cottage and mine yard. Transportation

Assist disabled riders to board Telecare buses, weekdays, 3-4 p.m.
