Resumes for NU principal pouring in

Dozens of people have applied to be Nevada Union High School’s new principal, Superintendent Joe Boeckx said.

“The stack is 4 or 5 inches thick” of resumes, he said. Others have filed applications over the internet.

The application period closes Monday. A committee will interview their favorites, Boeckx said.

The salary offered for the post ranges from $89,669 to $97,291 for a 220 day annual contract. An extra $1,000 would be paid to a candidate with a master’s degree, and another $1,000 to a candidate with a doctorate.
