Republican Party should return to its basic values

The Nevada County Republican Party has a serious problem that if not corrected will result in continued division and losses at the polls.

The party leadership persists in running candidates who do not represent the majority of Republican voters. That’s the reason we’ve lost control of the Board of Supervisors and the reason we have a write-in candidate.

If the leadership would stop bowing to special interest groups like CABPRO or CPR and return to basic Republican values, our candidates would win.

Until Nevada County’s GOP sheds special interest control, we will continue to lose and have write-in candidates.
