Reckless spending

Albert Koenig

Our Senate voted to cut $70 billion in taxes for personal and business people in the next 5 years and our great President sends a $2.7 trillion budget to Congress for approval. What is wrong with our leaders that they cannot run this great country better? Nobody else can get by operating in the red and it is about time we let our politicians know that they should take a stand and not allow companies to make billions in profit off of this war.

When the ones we owe money start to demand payment, then what do we do except tax the poor or let our future generations bail us out? It is sad that you have to be rich to be elected to a public office but that is always the case.

The politicians have to take care of the companies that supply the funds that put them in office but should not let them make billions in profit. What good is a budget anyway? When billions are needed they can get the money with no problem. Maybe the president should be allowed to spend as much as he wants, as he gets by with doing it anyway.
