Raiders letter resented

I am appalled that The Union would print the letter to the editor about the “poor Oakland Raiders” fan. The writer writes that he was pushed over the edge because he had to turn a page to read about his “beloved” Raiders. His statement: “Move over Scott Thorpe. You’ve got company” is cruel and inhumane, and it dishonors those killed and wounded on that terrible Jan. 10. As a survivor of the killings by Scott Thorpe, I resent the letter and I am concerned that he makes light of such a serious event. If you are over the edge, get yourself some help.
