Questionable decision

It appears the safety of our children is not the priority of Nevada Union district administrators. With all of their student drivers, Nevada Union should have been one of the first schools to cancel classes. Instead, they were one of the last.

One bus was unable to get up the hill on Ridge Road without chains. When the driver got out to chain up, kids left the bus to walk to school along Ridge Road in the vicinity of four spin-outs.

In the future, I would like a different decision-makers deciding about snow days. The highway patrol or sheriff would probably make excellent decisions regarding the safety of our students.
