Pusheck Anniversary

JANE and BRUCE PUSHECK

Jane and Bruce Pusheck (pictured at right) of Lake Wildwood celebrated 50 years of marriage on Aug. 23.

The two-day celebration included a Friday night barbecue and cruise on Lake Wildwood for out-of-town guests and family. The celebration continued on Saturday with daytime activities and dinner with dancing to the Butch Minor Band in the Cedar Room of the Lake Wildwood Clubhouse.



The couple acknowledged 17 couples in attendance who have been married 50 or more years. Two of the 17 couples, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Feld of Lake Wildwood, and Mr. and Mrs. D. K. Young of Alamo, have been married 64 years and were presented with rose bouquets. The engagement of the Pushecks’ eldest granddaughter, Kelly Marie Kennerly, to Wesley Nicholl, was also announced with the presentation of a rose bouquet.

Siblings present were Mr. and Mrs. David Torkelson (Jill) and Joseph Pusheck and Kelly Hanley. Also participating in all the festivities were grandchildren Kelly and Christopher Kennerly, Amanda Biswell, Andrew and Lindsay Torkelson and Ryan Pusheck. Out-of-town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Pusheck of Olivenhain; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Pusheck of Bradenton, Fla.; brothers and spouses of the groom, Rob Pusheck of Glenwood, Mrs. Cathie Lindeman of Bradenton, Fla.; nephew and niece of the couple and cousins Mr. and Mrs. Peter Charles Schaefer III of Denver. Friends from several cities in Northern California honored the couple with their attendance.
