There seem to be a lot of letters to the editor that protest our government’s attitude toward Saddam Hussein and the possible war with Iraq. That’s OK. This is America. However, I think that means I’m allowed to protest the protesters.

I’ll do that by asking these simple questions:

What if Hussein is like Hitler?

What if he uses terrible weapons against us and others in the future?

What if he supplies weapons to our enemies, such as al Qaida?

What if the United States president, secretary of state and secretary of defense are right?

What if you, the protesters, are wrong?

Isn’t any or all of some of this possible?
