Protection racket by eco-activists

It’s curious that the various environmental groups shifted the focus from labeling their opponents as “doing what they do for monetary gain” to “corporate greed.” Especially since they’re the ones who received corporate donations through the modern twist of the “protection racket.”

The corporations received tax breaks for benevolence, watched eco-activists ruin small business competition, and expected protection from them in return. Consequently, their private donations qualified the eco-activists for matching government (taxpayer) grants to protect everything from us.

Wild and scenic advocates (SYRCL) weren’t overly concerned about private property rights but used the “dam” issue to promote giving away all private property along the river to the federal government for Wild and Scenic designation, a move that’s considered illegal on two counts:

1. U.S. Constitution researchers say the law only grants the federal government jurisdiction over the waters along our coastline to protect us from enemies, but not the rivers and lakes within the states.

2. Wild and scenic designation requires that no man-made structures (dams or buildings) be on or near the river.

It appears that those with the loudest voices gained the most financially. Their opponents always said, “Follow the money trail if you want the truth.”
