Propaganda rubbish

Isn’t it great that we all have the constitutional right to say whatever we want, even if it is really dim-witted?

Last evening I went to see Michael Moore’s movie “Fahrenheit 9/11.” So many readers wrote to you condemning Jeff Ackerman for having the effrontery to express his opinion that the movie was filled with exaggerations and inaccuracies when he had not seen the “documentary.”

One does not have to view Hustler magazine to know that it is pornographic trash. Neither do we need to watch “Fahrenheit 9/11” to recognize that it is propaganda rubbish. Anyone who claims that this movie is a “documentary” or has any other socially redeeming value is either ignorant of history and current events, stupid, or disingenuous.

It is sad that Michael Moore does not have the integrity to realize that along with his constitutional right to free speech, he also has a responsibility to be truthful.
