Projects beneficial

I would like to congratulate Emily Norlund and Laura Hindt, who organized the wonderful benefit concert for CAPINCS (Child Abuse Prevention in Nevada County Schools) on April 7 as part of their Senior Projects, for a job very well done. I sincerely appreciate the hard work and enthusiasm of these two students, whose efforts raised more than $500 for the program. My deepest gratitude also to the bands and artists who donated their talents: Golden Shoulders, Aaron Ross, Coal Beautiere, Corey Bristow, Visions of the Night Moon, and Palisades; the many students who worked the event; Eric Norlund; and the local businesses which provided goods: Albertson’s, Caroline’s Coffee, Grocery Outlet, SPD, and Longs Drug Store.
