Program for youth affected by cancer

Registration is in progress for “Kidscope,” a free series of creative activities for youth aged 6 to 19 whose lives have been affected by cancer.

The sessions focus on creative expression through art, clay, and play. The program is sponsored by the Sierra Nevada Cancer Center.

“Kidscope” sessions for children aged 6 to 12 will be held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Thursdays from Jan. 30 through March 13. The program will be held in Classroom A at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital and will be taught by Jeanine Bryant, M.S., and Diana Pollock.



“Kidscope” sessions for teens aged 13 to 19 will be held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Mondays through March 3 and will be taught by Bryant and Jennifer Koerber . These sessions also will be held in Classroom A.
