Profound differences

President Bush’s State of the Union address and the Democrats’ rebuttal was a perfect illustration of the profound differences between the parties and the individuals who represent them. Following a week of pathetic ranting by Sens. Boxer, Kennedy and Kerry, it is evident that pessimism is indeed “a waste of imagination.” Liberals might suspend their hatred of this man for a moment and consider that he is operating in the arena of great truths that elevate ALL people, rather than the narcissi demands of small, noisy groups. The cynicism by the left toward anything that is proving to be successful is pure partisan idiocy and so transparent that they ought not be surprised at the implosion of their party. President Bush will not squander his time as the leader of the free world in self indulgence and power mongering, and I, for one, am grateful and very proud that he and the first lady represent all that is good about this country.
