Production was great

An open letter to the Foothill Theatre Company board of directors:

Congratulations! The many difficult decisions and changes you had to make to keep the Foothill Theatre Company alive and reverse a downward fiscal trend seem to be paying off. “Around the World in Eighty Days” was absolutely delightful. The Sacramento Bee reviewer thought so too, giving it four and a half stars out of five.

The theatre was packed on opening night and the audience loudly appreciated the humor and clever set design as evidenced by their laughter, applause and standing ovation. The fund-raising “gala” (Around the Town in Eighty Minutes) was fun; a great idea and the type of event that puts the “fun” in fund-raising. Special thanks to Philip Sneed who did a wonderful job directing this play under such awkward conditions.

To those who have not yet seen it, go! Don’t miss out on the “eleFUNt.” (Clue: you won’t get this unless you go.)
