Pro-choice-not pro-abortion

The writer who referred to abortion as genocide has no comprehension of what is one of the most difficult decisions a woman might ever face. He stated that women choose abortion due to “inadequate finances, not ready for responsibility, didn’t know she was pregnant.” He, of course, will never have to make the decision he sarcastically refers to as supported by “Pro-Aborts” rather than those who are simply “pro-choice.” I find it interesting that people like him assume if you are pro-choice you are automatically pro-abortion when the issue is really about individual rights that include a variety of informed choices.

In his quest for statistics to support his narrow-minded views, he selected one item from a survey that appeared on The Alan Guttmacher Institute website, referring to “black-skinned people” in New Jersey. He would be better informed by reading the article on that same website, “Lessons from Before Roe: Will Past be Prologue?” Since he also seems to peruse dictionaries for definitions, I suggest he look up intolerance, racism, prejudice and ignorance as well as “neuter.” Some citizens might prefer to make that choice for him as a viable option for birth control.
