Prayer a part of life |

Prayer a part of life

Molly Ivins has asked for comments on prayer at football games.

When praying at a football game, not only do we ask to win but for help to do our best and also to escape injury.

Our forefathers wanted everyone to have the freedom to worship as they pleased. Yet today, a minority has exaggerated this to take God out of all phases of our lives to the detriment of our society.

Since this country was founded on religious freedom, prayer should be part of our everyday life.
