Vandalism to windows at Seven Hills School on Hoover Lane was reported at 2 p.m.


Benito M. Lozada, 25, of Penn Valley was booked at 2:20 a.m. into Wayne Brown Correctional Facility on suspicion of arson, burglary and attempted burglary. His bail is $50,000.

He was arrested on Main Street after allegedly breaking into three parked vehicles and trying to break into a fourth at the gas station on Union Street. A rock was used to break into the vehicles, and one of the vehicles had interior fire damage, Chief Lou Trovato said.

• A man was seen sleeping near the 200 block of Bank Street with all his belongings in bags, a caller reported at 10:27 a.m.

• A transient who set up camp behind the 300 block of West Main Street was cited and released about 2:50 a.m.


A man was cited for camping at the Holiday Lodge on East Main Street at about 8:30 a.m.
