Laptop computers were stolen from a home on the 10000 block of Ridge Road, a caller reported at 8:44 a.m.


Seven male inmates at Carl F. Bryan II Juvenile Hall were cited for rioting and resisting arrest. The incident stemmed from one inmate flooding a room, causing laughter from others, interim Chief Probation Officer Doug Carver said. Some of the inmates ran around and didn’t immediately return to their rooms, and hall officials called the Sheriff’s Office at 10:03 p.m. Carver said the entire incident lasted about 45 minutes.

Grass Valley

Jeremy Pattee, 20, of Grass Valley was arrested on suspicion of theft, possession of burglary tools, resisting arrest, and violating probation. He and another suspect were seen breaking into vehicles on the 300 block of Northstar Place, a caller reported at 1:22 a.m. The other suspect got away. Pattee is being held without bail at Wayne Brown Correctional Facility.

A vehicle hit a house on the 700 block of Zion Street and the driver drove away, a caller reported at 5:54 p.m.
