Grass Valley Police Department


• A caller at Valley Commons Apartments, on the 200 block of Joerschke Drive, reported the theft of $6,000 in cash from an apartment.

• Sleeping bags and other miscellaneous property were reportedly found by the south side of Eastridge Apartments, on Rockwood Drive, at 4:57 p.m.

Police determined that no one had been at that homeless camp for a few days, and officers called Public Works to come and clean up the property.

Nevada County Sheriff’s Office


• A caller on the 13200 block of Curtis Lane, near Hidden Valley Road, reported at 3:30 p.m. that someone was using her address to open up new credit card accounts.

• At 5:49 p.m., a caller driving south on Highway 49 near Lime Kiln Road reported that he was being followed by a man to whom he owed money.
