Nevada County Sheriff’s Office

Sunday

• At 2:37 a.m., a caller reported that he had gotten into a fight with another man in North San Juan, and that the other man threw a wrench through the caller’s car window.

• A caller on the 19700 block of Matthew Road, near Long Ravine Road, reported that he was having thoughts of dumping oil in a nearby lake. The caller asked for a ride to the hospital for a mental health evaluation, before he might act out on his impulses. The sheriff’s office transferred the call to the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office, because the lake in question was in the other agency’s jurisdiction.
