• A caller reported at 9:40 a.m. that there was a bear near Mother Truckers store, outside of North San Juan. The caller said the bear was walking in circles.

• At 2:39 p.m., another caller reported that the bear had made its way into a field and that there were people with weapons watching it. The California Department of Fish and Game was called out to scare the bear into going back into the forest. No further information was available.
