• Mark Salazar, 22, of Grass Valley, was arrested and booked on suspicion of bringing controlled substances into jail, giving false information to an officer, unlawfully displaying evidence of vehicle registration and possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.


• Kai Gui Zhang, 42, of Auburn, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm. He was booked into Wayne Brown Correctional Facility on $25,000 bail.

• Justin Pelt, 21, of Grass Valley, was arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled substances, possession of illegal fireworks and controlled substance paraphernalia.
