Grass Valley Police Department Friday

• At 4:56 p.m., a caller on the 400 block of Sutton Way reported that three boys and two girls were doing drugs behind The Record Connection.

• A caller on the 11400 block of Pleasant Valley Road, across from Lake Wildwood, reported at 5:42 p.m. that a person had altered a medical prescription and was attempting to get it filled at a store. Deputies arrested that person.


• At 7:51 p.m., a caller on the 11100 block of Pittsburg Mine Road, near Banner Lava Cap Road, reported that a vehicle was parked in the caller’s driveway, and that two people inside the car told the caller that they “were hiding from the cops.” The caller said that the car was gray, and possibly a Saab. The people then drove away, the caller said.

• Linda Marie George, 47, of Grass Valley, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, bringing drugs into a jail, transporting or selling a controlled substance, transporting or selling a narcotic controlled substance, being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a hypodermic needle or syringe, and being drunk in public.
