Grass Valley Police Department

• At 9:36 p.m., a caller on the 400 block of Crown Point Circle reported that she had seen someone on a rooftop with a flashlight. Police could not find anyone in the area.

• Theft of a guitar from a residence on the 10000 block of Celio Road was reported at 3:21 p.m.

• A caller on the 13800 block of Meda Drive reported at 6:04 p.m. that a neighbor had put up a board with nails attached onto a fence between their properties, presumable to injure the caller’s cat so that it does not jump over the fence. Police spoke with the neighbor, who admitted to putting up the board. The cat at one point became stuck on a nail, and a juvenile who tried to take the board down was also reportedly injured.
