Grass Valley Police Department

Wednesday

• A 1995 white Honda Civic was reported stolen at 12:23 p.m. from the 1400 block of East Main Street. The car had tinted windows. Police took a stolen vehicle report.



• At 7:31 p.m., a caller on the 100 block of Stanford Court reported that she thought her “TV told her to call 911 because they wanted to speak to her.”

Thursday




• A caller on Empire Street reported at 10:16 a.m. that a 3-year-old had been wandering in the area wearing pajamas and carrying a baby bottle. The caller said the child had a German shepherd with him or her. Police checked the area extensively and spoke with several people, but no one had seen the child.

Nevada County Sheriff’s Office

Wednesday

• A caller at Longs Drug, on the 10000 block of Combie Road, reported at 9:44 p.m. that two men came inside the store and stole about $200 in alcohol. A burglary report was taken.
