Grass Valley Police Department

Monday

• A caller reported finding a body behind a business on the 800 block of Sutton way at 3:05 p.m. Police found and spoke with a man, who reportedly fell asleep behind the business. He was told to move off the property.



• At 6:49 p.m., a woman on the 900 block of McCourtney Road reported that a man was masturbating outside of her window. Police could not find the man.

Tuesday




• At 9:48 a.m., a woman on the 600 block of Packard Drive reported that someone had been using her credit card at various businesses around town.

• A caller on the 300 block of Sierra College Drive reported at 10:59 a.m. that several children had been left unattended in a vehicle. Police found the vehicle and arrested the female driver on suspicion of child neglect.

Nevada County Sheriff’s Office

Tuesday

• At 6:35 p.m. Tuesday, a caller on the 11200 block of Newtown Road reported that she had seen two large bears and two baby bears near her garage. The caller said that they were dragging something long and lean. Sheriff’s deputies could not find any bears.

• A caller on the 10000 block of Pleasant Valley Road, at the Penn Valley Chevron gas station, reported that he or she had just received a counterfeit $100 bill.
