Grass Valley Police Department


• A caller reported at 1:11 p.m. that a kindergarten student at Hennessy School had brought a bullet to class. The bullet was confiscated and the child’s parent was called to the school.

• At 5:16 p.m., a caller reported that juveniles were throwing what appeared to be mustard at cars. When police responded, they found the juveniles had thrown a sandwich under a car on the intersection of Race and Pine Streets.

• A caller reported at 5:30 p.m. that gates of a building on Freeman Lane was locked and there were some computer technicians locked inside.

• A caller reported at 2:55 p.m. that people had been stealing items from a business on the 10300 block of Combie Road and were now trying to sell the items back to the business.


• At 11:23 a.m., a caller reported that there was a box sitting on top of mailboxes on Hollydale Road. The caller said it was taped to the mailboxes and just sitting in the rain. The mail had not come that day yet and the package wasn’t there the night before. The caller found it suspicious.
