Grass Valley Police Department

Thursday

• At 3:06 p.m., there was a verbal altercation between a crossing guard and a parent picking up a child on the 200 block of South Auburn Street.



• A woman reported at 7:55 p.m. from the 300 block of Bennett Street that a man she knew had taken a fuse out of her vehicle, preventing her from leaving. When police responded they found the woman was in the process of moving out and the fuse was found under the seat of the car. The man said he took the fuse out to prevent the vehicle from being stolen.

• A caller reported at 11:11 a.m. that she was getting 40 to 60 hang-up callers a day on her answering machine at her residence on the 200 block of Manor Drive.

• At 10:07 a.m., a woman reported that a neighbor’s dog had killed her dog on the 10900 block of Prospector Road.
