Grass Valley Police Department


• A caller on the 300 block of Pleasant Street reported at 11:34 a.m. that a neighbor stole a plant out of a planter from the caller the previous day, and that the plant was sitting on the neighbor’s deck. The caller said that the neighbor had taken things from other people, as well.

• At 2:05 p.m., a caller on South Church Street reported that a purse had been stolen from a vehicle the previous day, although the purse contained nothing of value.

Nevada County Sheriff’s Office


• A 1972 Honda 50 maroon motorcycle was reported stolen, at 2:19 p.m., from the 10200 block of Carey Drive. The motorcycle has a black seat.


• At 7:24 a.m., a caller on the 11700 block of Hidden Valley Road reported that someone had slit two tires on the caller’s car, and broke the windshield and both side windows.

Nevada City Police Department


• At 9:44 a.m., a vehicle was reported vandalized while parked on Turpentine Drive. Two windows were reported broken.
