Grass Valley Police Department

Monday

• A caller near the intersection of Comstock Court and Dorsey Drive reported at 6:03 p.m. that several boys were throwing rocks at and into cars behind some apartments.



Tuesday

• At 1:33 p.m., a caller at the Staples parking lot reported that a vehicle had been keyed some time in the previous 30 minutes.




Nevada County Sheriff’s Office

Monday

• A garage on the 12500 block of Los Cedros Lane was reported burglarized at 8:04 p.m.

• Several mailboxes were reported vandalized at 10:13 p.m., on North Bloomfield Road.

Tuesday

• Seven marijuana plants were reported stolen from outside a home on the 10200 block of Gautier Drive at 1:33 p.m. The caller said the theft most likely occurred the previous day.

Fire calls

Tuesday

• A three-acre vegetation fire was reported at about 10:30 a.m. near the intersection of Pleasant Valley and Bitney Springs roads. The fire was contained by 11 a.m.
