Grass Valley Police Department Sunday

• A caller reported that her 1999 Saturn SL2 was stolen from the 400 block of Henderson Street on Sept. 19. The car was silver and had a cracked windshield. The license plate was 3PQD277.

• At 3:43 p.m., a caller near the intersection of Church and Richardson streets reported that four children were throwing rocks into vehicles. Police found the children, who said they were throwing rocks into a recycling bin.


• A caller on the 10000 block of Joerschke Drive reported at 8:41 a.m. that two vehicles had been burglarized. The caller said someone had cut a gate lock to get to the vehicles, and then used two-by-fours to break into them.

• A woman called at 2:43 p.m. to report that a man was standing near a white pickup truck and masturbating about 200 yards from her residence on the 17400 block of Champion Mine Road.

• A caller reported at 7:42 p.m. that people were shooting firearms at deer from their car as they drove down Rattlesnake Road.


• At 1:17 p.m., a caller reported finding what appeared to be marijuana plants on his property on Arrowhead Mine Road.
