Nevada County Sheriff’s Office

Thursday

• A caller reported possible drug sales involving a small red vehicle with two Hispanic males that happen regularly in Western Gateway Park between 4:30 and 5 p.m.



• A caller discovered marijuana plants growing in front of Milhous School in Nevada City. Officers confiscated the plants.

• A caller on Creek View Road reported at 1:44 p.m. that her ex-husband pulled a knife and an ax on her. Sheriff’s deputies discovered both parties were engaged in mutual combat.




• A caller on Silver Leaf Road reported receiving harassing calls at 1:30 a.m. The calls were preceded by screaming coming from outside the caller’s residence, but he was unable to find the source of the screams.

Grass Valley Police Department

Thursday

• A caller in the 100 block of Mill Street reported at 10 a.m. that a sticky liquid was thrown on business windows and cigarettes were stuck in it.

• A caller at 11:47 a.m. reported that six Hispanic males will throwing rocks at wild turkeys at the Eskaton Village construction site. Males had previously harmed a possum at the site, according to the caller.

Friday

• At 11:47 a.m., a caller on Primrose Lane asked a police officer to take her boyfriend from a friend’s house to her grandmother’s house because he refused to go. She said her boyfriend left with her keys after her mother yelled at him.
