Grass Valley Police Department


• Three men were reportedly throwing things off the Brighton Street overpass at 1:29 p.m. Another caller later reported that three people were throwing things off the Squirrel Creek overpass.

• At 3:04 p.m., a caller at Hennessy School on Colfax Avenue reported that three buses were vandalized the previous night.

• A caller on the 600 block of Walsh Street reported at 5:50 p.m. that her marijuana plants had been stolen.

Nevada County Sheriff’s Office


• At 1:22 p.m., a caller on the 16200 block of Trails End Road reported that his or her residence was burglarized the previous day. Someone reportedly used the shower, ate the caller’s food and drank the caller’s wine.


• A caller reported at 10:11 a.m. that some wood had been stolen from a construction site on the 12900 block of Greenhorn Road.

• A vehicle was reported stolen from a garage on the 23400 block of Shadow Drive at 7:24 p.m.

Nevada City Police Department


• At 11:25 p.m., a caller on the 400 block of Nimrod Street reported that someone crashed a vehicle into her fence, broke several water lines and sped off.


• A caller at the Northern Queen Inn, on the 400 block of Railroad Avenue, reported that a room had been burglarized. Nothing was taken, the caller said, but drug paraphernalia was left behind.
