Grass Valley Police Department

Friday

• A caller reported at 1:41 p.m. that a man who had his jaw wired shut had allegedly stolen blinds from the caller’s residence on the 220 block of S. School Street. The man was reported to have been sleeping in front of the residence and had been driving a gray conversion van.

Thursday




• A caller reported at 1:54 p.m. that a bicycle was found in one of the car wash bays of the Glenbrook Carwash on the 11900 block of Nevada City Highway.

• At 10:56 p.m., an elderly man was reportedly carrying loaded handguns around the neighborhood and through a neighbor’s property on Bitney Springs Road.

• A caller reported at 11:56 p.m. that a man had possibly taken a bunch of pills and then took a gun out of the gun cabinet and went into the garage on the 10500 block of Red Lane. Police responded to the area and surveyed the neighborhood by helicopter. Contact was made with the man by police.
