Grass Valley Police Department Wednesday

• A caller on School Street reported at 10:49 a.m. that he had found a fanny pack with $1,750 in traveler’s checks and a passport. The bag was reported stolen from a car in downtown Nevada City several days earlier.

• At 7:03 p.m., a caller on South Church Street reported finding a boy who appeared to be about 2 years old. Police found the boy’s father at his home on the 400 block of Brighton Street, and arrested him on several local warrants.

• A caller reported at 12:39 a.m. that a large group of people had gathered at the Scotts Flat Campground and were yelling and screaming.

• At 8:14 a.m., a caller on Highway 49 near the Bear River Bridge, reported that a woman, who was possibly under the influence of drugs or alcohol, was stumbling around a parking lot near the bridge.
