Nevada County Sheriff’s Office

Friday

• Paul Hinschelwood reported at 7:54 a.m. that someone took four spotlights off of an antique fire engine the Nevada County Historical Society was restoring on his property in the 13000 block of Dog Bar Road. Hinschelwood called The Union to say no questions would be asked if the spotlights were returned.



Thursday

• Placer Sierra Bank at 13120 Alta Sierra Drive reported an embezzlement at 10:23 a.m. The Sheriff’s Office had no other information, as the report was not complete.




• A man reported at 3:38 p.m. that someone had taken a paddle boat from his property on the 19000 block of Greenhorn Road.

• Jose Raul-Mora Apolinar, 34, of Olympic Valley, was arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs for sale and transporting drugs for sale. Bail was set at $40,000.
