Nevada County Sheriff’s Office


• At 8:32 p.m., a caller on the 11200 block of McCourtney Road reported that someone broke a window in his vehicle and fled toward Grass Valley.

• A caller on the 16500 block of Hallelujah Lane reported that his or her home had been burglarized. A ring and several marijuana plants were reported stolen.


• At 7:21 a.m., a caller on Indigo Way, near Cruzon Grade, reported that someone was walking around, shouting and firing a weapon. The suspect could not be found.

Nevada City Police Department


• At 3:29 p.m., a caller at the Nevada County Superior Court, on Church Street, reported possible drug activity near the courthouse. Officers talked to a suspect, who agreed to move on.


• A caller at Trolley Junction restaurant reported at 5:44 a.m. that the business had been burglarized. Cash was taken and the front door was broken.
