Grass Valley Police Department Monday

• A caller reported at 11:53 a.m. that the netting at the Pine Creek Center on Freeman Lane that was designed to keep birds out is actually causing birds to get stuck inside. The caller also said there are dead birds inside the netting.

Tuesday



• A woman on the 400 block of Maryland Drive reported at 2:54 a.m. that someone was breaking into her home at the time. Police found several juveniles who said they had heard a loud bang and came over to investigate. Police cited the juveniles for curfew violation, and the woman did not press further charges.

Sunday

• At 8:55 p.m., a caller on Wolf Mountain Road reported that several people were climbing the radio towers at the end of the road.

Monday

• At 9:22 a.m., a mailbox was reported vandalized with an explosive device on the 14500 block of Idaho-Maryland Road.

• A caller on the 19100 block of Country Place reported at 11:28 a.m. that a mailbox had been vandalized.

• At 5:15 p.m., the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and the U.S. Forest Service reported that a motor home was found hanging off a cliff at the South Yuba Trail near Relief Hill Road and that there was possible drug paraphernalia in the area. Deputies could not find evidence of either when they responded.

Tuesday

• A residence on the 10600 block of Gold Flat Road was reported burglarized at 1:14 a.m.
