Grass Valley Police Department

Monday

• A caller at Blockbuster Video on Taylorville Road reported at 2:21 p.m. that a juvenile attempted to buy a $7 video with a fake $100 bill. The juvenile was arrested.



Tuesday

• At 7:22 a.m., a caller on the 100 block of Neal Street reported that someone had attempted to steal a forklift from a parking lot the previous night. The battery cables had been cut and some brackets loosened.




Nevada County Sheriff’s Office

Monday

• A caller at Williams Ranch School reported at 10:59 a.m. that school property had been vandalized overnight.
