Grass Valley Police Department Wednesday

– A man reported at 3:50 p.m. that he entered the boarded-up U-Save building on Colfax Avenue because he suspected he has been “tagged” and his telephone line was cut by people who were living inside the building. Upon entering the building through a hole, the caller said, he noticed several mattresses and saw suspects there, but they hid and became quiet. Officers checked the building and determined that no one could have entered it through the hole because it was too small, and the other entrances were boarded up.

– At 4:35 p.m., a caller on the 500 block of Whiting Street reported that a male juvenile wearing a black shirt and cut-offs was skateboarding through the parking lot and hitting cars with his fists.
