Thursday

• A caller reported a theft of an 8-month-old, 60-pound dog named Michael with a pointer-type white face, black ears, short hair, and a long wiry tail at 4:07 p.m. from the 400 block of Henderson.

• Several callers reported a vegetation fire at Condon Park at 6 p.m.

• A caller reported a red Toyota driven by two males doing doughnuts in the Kmart parking lot near Baskin Robbins at 11:11 p.m.

Friday

• Daniel Geffroy Gordon, 25, of Nevada City, was arrested on suspicion of burglary at 12:12 p.m. Bail was set at $25,000.

Nevada City Police Department

Thursday

• A caller on the 11600 block of Northview Drive reported that someone broke into his house and stole a case for a Mikita drill at 2:04 p.m. while he was at his home.

• A caller reported the theft of tools from his vehicle while it was parked at an auto repair shop at the 700 block of Zion Street at 6:52 p.m.

• A caller reported that the screen was cut on her window and someone apparently attempted to get into her residence at 10:29 p.m. on the 100 block of Martin Street.

Friday

• Sound equipment was reportedly taken from the Landmark Baptist Church on McCourtney Road at 8:06 a.m.
