Grass Valley Police Department


– Mark Anthony Sanzone, 19, of Penn Valley, was arrested on suspicion of burglary and criminal conspiracy, both felonies.

– At 5:10 p.m., a caller reported her vehicle windshield was smashed by a juvenile while it was parked at Maidu Trail and Indian Springs Road. Several witnesses saw the suspect’s vehicle license plate. The suspect was contacted at his home, on the 18100 block of Lake Forest Drive, and his father agreed to pay for the damage to the windshield.


– A well pump was reported stolen at 8:47 a.m. from a residence under construction on the 20800 block of Brewer Road.

– At 9:53 a.m., a caller reported a jacket was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 100 block of Boulder Street.
