Nevada County Sheriff’s Office


– A caller reported at 3:21 p.m. that his car had been broken into on the 22600 block of Dog Bar Road, and a bag and checkbook were stolen.

– At 7:36 p.m., a caller reported a man threw a beer bottle through her car window.


– At 8:21 a.m., a gun was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 16400 block of Tony Court.

– At 8:23 a.m., a caller reported sound equipment was stolen from an unlocked garage on the 16800 block of Patricia Way.

Nevada City Police Department


– A trash can in Callahan Park was reported on fire at 4:50 p.m. The fire was put out.
