Grass Valley Police Department


– At 5:40 p.m., a caller reported a vehicle on the 600 block of Pelton Way had been broken into. A CD player and CDs were taken.

– Thomas Cecil Rabbitt, 45, of Grass Valley, was arrested on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury, committing a felony while on his own recognizance and failing to appear in court. He was previously arrested on Jan. 9 on charges of carrying a loaded weapon with the intent to commit a crime and several drug charges. He missed his felony conference.

– At 11:06 p.m., a caller on the 200 block of Park Street reported a man knocked on her door and identified himself as a Grass Valley police officer. Officers found the man, who said he was at the wrong house and was leaving the area.
