Grass Valley Police Department


– A purse was reported stolen at 3 p.m. in the Kmart parking lot.


– Two or three computers and monitors were reported stolen from a business on the 300 block of Crown Point Circle.

Nevada County Sheriff’s Office


– A residence on the 12300 block of Bay Point Way was reported burglarized at 2:30 p.m.


– At 9:53 a.m., a caller on the 11400 block of Tyler Foote Road reported a man was coming down from a four-day meth binge and was cutting his arms with broken glass and tearing apart the home. The suspect was taken to the hospital for an evaluation.
